GDP Growth in the Third Quarter – Improved But Still Slow

The Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) released the advance estimate of real GDP growth for the third quarter of 2012 last week. Real GDP grew at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 2.0%, up from 1.3% in the second quarter.
