




With the end of 2011 approaching, the contributors of NAHB’s Eye on Housing thought it would be useful to take a look at the updates that attracted the most readers over the last year.
In November, we reported NAHB analysis of the cost of constructing an average new single-family home. The results indicate that the cost per square foot of constructing a home among surveyed NAHB members has remained around $80/sq ft for both 2009 and 2011.
